PENNTAP clients reported:
- 450 jobs created or saved, including 225 in distressed counties
- $52 million in economic benefits from cost savings, sales increases, and investments, including $28 million in distressed counties
- a 99-percent satisfaction rate
PENNTAP reports:
We provided 630 cases of technology assistance to clients in all 67 counties, including 260 cases in distressed counties. - 50 percent of our clients were referred to PENNTAP from other organizations.
- 80 percent of our clients were from businesses with fewer than 50 employees.
- Our technical specialists provided 45 technology seminars across the Commonwealth, attracting 925 participants.
- We published Pennsylvania County Industry Trends 2001–2004 in partnership with the Pennsylvania State Data Center and with the support of the Team Pennsylvania Foundation.
SBDC January-December 2005:
- Entrepreneurs Consulted = 350
- Total Hours of Consulting Provided = 4,500
- Client Obtained Financing = $4.6 million
- Businesses Opened = 14
- Jobs Created = 114
